【調配水泥砂漿黃金比例 臺科大舉辦水泥砂漿競賽】
為促進台灣混凝土的品質控制及發展，臺科大與社團法人台灣混凝土學會共同舉辦水泥砂漿工作性能競賽，提供國內各界一個混凝土技術切磋與交流平台，讓大家透過競賽了解水泥基材料的可加工性和流動性，調配出水泥砂漿的黃金比例。
臺科大校長顏家鈺表示，舉辦這樣的實作比賽很有意義，且從高中職到社會人士都參與，大家可以交流技術，同學們透過實作互相切磋，也更了解原料的特性和未來工作上的應用。
Finding the Golden Ratio for Cement and Mortar Taiwan Tech and Taiwan Concrete Institute Jointly Host Competition
To promote concrete technology and the quality control of concrete materials in Taiwan, Taiwan Tech and the Taiwan Concrete Institute (TCI) jointly organized a workplace performance competition for cement and mortar. The aim of this competition was to provide a platform for exchanges on concrete technology in Taiwan, to gain a better understanding of the workability and flowability of cementitious materials, i.e. find the “golden ratio” for cement and mortar.
In his opening remarks, Taiwan Tech President Jia-Yush Yen emphasized the importance of such work performance competitions where all participants - from academic to senior high school students to members of the public – are invited to share their skills and expertise. This would certainly help students to understand characteristics of the materials and how to apply them in future construction projects.
